CASA of Los Angeles pairs eligible children and young people with trained volunteer advocates who provide consistent one-on-one support and advocate for their educational, medical, mental health, safety, permanency, and other individual needs.

Young person ages 0–21 living in Los Angeles County with an open dependency case at the Edmund D. Edelman Children’s Court or Alfred J. McCourtney Juvenile Justice Center. Appointment of a CASA is subject to referral, court approval, program review, and availability. Referred by a a family member, caregiver, educator, mentor or other service provider.
