Immigration Program
Children’s Law Center of California (CLC)
Children’s Law Center of California’s Immigration Program supports undocumented CLC clients involved in the foster care and juvenile dependency system. The immigration team screens youth for possible immigration relief, determines whether they need immigration counsel, and works with their dependency attorneys to obtain necessary court orders. CLC also works with immigration legal-service providers throughout California to connect clients with attorneys and, in some cases, directly represents youth in immigration matters such as Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), asylum, U visas, T visas, VAWA, and DACA.

This program is for undocumented youth who are clients of Children’s Law Center of California and may need immigration help while involved in the foster care/dependency system. CLC can screen you to see whether you may qualify for immigration relief and determine what legal help you need.
How to apply
If Children’s Law Center represents you and you need help with an immigration issue, talk to your CLC attorney or contact the CLC Immigration Unit at immigration@clccal.org. The immigration team can screen you for possible immigration relief and determine whether you need an immigration attorney. If CLC does not represent you, use one of the outside immigration legal-service organizations listed on CLC's immigration webpage instead.
