LA LGTBQ Center- RISE
RISE is a free Child & Family-focused support that is committed to increasing the safety, well-being, and permanency of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning (LGBTQ+) children and youth 5-21 with a current Los Angeles County DCFS case. As a part of the DCFS LGBTQ+ Tailored Services Program, RISE is a one-of -a-kind, customized supports program including linkage to other LA LGBT Center programs and services.

These are rules we cannot check for you. Read them before you apply, and ask the organization if you are not sure.
- For the foster-care/DCFS component, RISE serves LGBTQ+ youth in Los Angeles County ages 5 to 21 who currently have or recently had a DCFS case. RISE also serves LGBTQ+ youth 24 and younger who have a current Los Angeles County juvenile probation/delinquency case. Youth can self refer or be referred by someone supporting them.
